Tohani Village, no. 76, Prahova county, CP 107302
Our vineyard covers an area of 36 ha and is located in one of the most spectacular vineyards in Dealu Mare – Tohani wine region, at an altitude of over 400 m. The vine is disposed on terraces with southern exposure, offering the best climatic conditions for obtaining wines of great complexity. The plantation includes both Romanian varieties: Fetească Neagră, Fetească Regală, Tămâioasă Românească, as well as international varieties, such as: Chardonnay, Muscat Ottonel, Riesling Italian, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Syrah. Perfectly adapted to the pedo-climatic conditions in Dealu Mare wine region, they fully reveal their potential in every bottle of wine.
Dealu Mare wine region is considered the „Homeland of Red Wines” due to its wine history and the pedo-climatic context. The vineyard fully benefits from the southern exposure of the slopes, the warm air brought by the currents from the Romanian Plain and the protection of the hills of the Southern Subcarpathians. The soil is clay-loam, with calcareous substrate contributing to the special character of this wine region.
